Unofficial, because it is run and maintained by Stark State students (or student at the moment), and has no affiliation with Stark State staff. Here at the SSSF you can communicate with other Stark State students, teachers, alumni, and all other people who are a part of our online community. SSSF provides what I hope will be an excellent environment to network as well as simply getting to know other SS students. Here you can ask questions, learn about teachers and classes, promote events, find a job, get updated with related SS news, discuss everything from news to movies, or sell or trade your used books. Thanks to all of us members and HvyMtLCk04 who registered today as the 100th SSSF member, we have now reached a milestone. It's not a bad start, especially being the summer semester! I'm really syked about all the new users, it looks like all the time put into the site may be paying off.. Thanks! Anyways, I thought you guys may be interested in upcoming improvements I have for the site. Some things that I would like to accomplish before the fall semester. These are: - Career Services posting directly to the "Job Postings" forum - User guides for people unfamiliar with using forums, as well as more guides in general - And the school paper.. (I forget what it is called at the moment) but having it posted within the forums - MyStarkState link added Also, I already changed the ssBay forums. There are now two new sub-forums "Want to Sell" and "Want to Buy". If you have any other suggestions, please let me know. Also, I will be hiking until May 19th away from any cell phone coverage, and definitely no Internet access, so I will not be able to return any emails or private message... Today is the official first day of spring break, and also St. Patricks Day! How perfect!  Anyways.. this spring break coincides with most campuses in the area so everyone should be out in force tonight and this week. So yea, the site has been on the web for awhile now, but no one knew about it, and a forum is not a functioning forum if no one knows about it. So today I'm making sure people know about the site by posting fliers and sending out emails. I hope it brings in a lot of memberships, and if you're reading this and are not a member yet, join now!
